Karl goes for SECOND home playoff win today...

In his column today, the Rocky Mountain News' Chris Tomasson does my work for me by pointing out that George Karl has only won ONE home playoff game since coaching the Nuggets. Now that's good coaching!

Didn't know about that statistic lol. But only 1 home game? That's so sad.

The Nuggets are playing descent defense right now, however Carmelo is stanking up the place. Damn, he is soooo selfish and a ball hog. He's the most selfish player on the court consisting of both Iverson and Kobe. That in itself is an alarming stat.

You should create sellmelo.com site, he's the weakest link in Denver. Kenyon is on second place after Melo.

Laker fan here; learned of this website via the top 10 reasons you hate Laker fans post. Anyway, some of the shallowness of that aside, the essence of this website is absolutely right. Anyway; just watchin' this game. I'm sure it's killin' you Nugg fans seeing how lackadaisical your team is playing. I've been scared of when the Nuggets would actually ever GET IT. But that said, it's not the Nuggets. It's Karl. I personally have thought that for several years and have thought the same thing about Don Nelson. Look at how Avery Johnson took over the Mavs in '05 with essentially the same team that Nelly had the year before but he took them to the NBA finals while Nelly would justify his paycheck a little bit and then give himself some sort of plausible deniability that he hadn't done his job. Avery came in and demanded defense....and good things happened. You're absolutely right. If Karl did the same thing, you guys have plenty of talent to have a great team. But Karl isn't going to change. You guys need Larry Brown. Anyway, don't trip. If your team doesn't beat us in the series, you still live in a great area, you got the best skiing, you can actually breathe your air.....so take care Nuggs fans.

I hope the Nuggets don't turn up to the last match. An embarrasing performance infront of the home fans. Melo needs a big summer with USA, he will learn a lot about perfecting weaknesses in your game from LeBron/Bryant/Deron/Paul/etc. alot of work needs to be done. You cant blame him really for this but he is a young player and this is supposed to be his franchise. leBron saw weaknesses in his jumpshot last season and worked on it offseason- Melo needs to work on his physique and defense

'sellmelo'... you know, I like that.
And I agree, it's not Karl so much as you have a franchise built around the NBA's version of Peter Pan. I mean, he just WON'T grow up.

Hammered again, this time at home. Looking forward to the game description here at FGK!

Can we expect a "10 Reasons why I hate Nuggets fans"? blog soon? Because I have a good one to start you off...How about I hate Nuggets fans because they empty out the arena with more than 5 minutes to play? Seriously, what a bunch of bandwagon/fair weather fans...Was this a playoff game or the opera? Was this game played at an NBA arena or a museum? Shhhhh...Because Ive never seen a PLAYOFF game with such a quiet, uninterested crowd! Geeze, the only time the crowd was loud was when they were cheering for Kobe! And what ever happened to the threats of chanting hate at Kobe? All I heard were "Kobe, Kobe" and "MVP-MVP!" chants...

i am one of AI's Fans in HK .
i just watch the game 3 in Denver
I feel extremely disappointed to the team's performance .The most important thing is Karl don't know how to use his players well especially Melo . No tactics are on both defense and offense side at all
As such, I strongly support your website and i also believe that the day we hope will certainly come soon

Good will come out of this series. We are only 1 game away from hiring a new coach that will turn the organization around. The following quote is really sad. "I'm just hoping that they won't be chanting 'MVP' here on this home court," Anthony said. "Things aren't going right if they start doing that." Well you hit the head of the nail Melo.

Hey "anonymous" regarding the 10 reasons to hate Nuggets fans... A) how in the hell can you blame an ass kicking on the fans in the seats, and B) why would you think people should be expected to waste away in agony watching a piss-poor embarassment of a team?

Blow the whole F'n thing up as far as I'm concerned. Call me when something changes around here. I have better shit to do.

Hey "Eric" the point of my "Anonymous" post was to show the hypocracy of the earlier posted list of reasons to "hate" the Lakers...In that list we were called soft fans...bandwagon fans...uneducated fans...all that good stuff.

Point is every team has hardcore, mediocre and "bandwagon" fans. So a Nuggets fan calling Laker fans "bandwagoners" looks silly when half of the arena emptied out when it became apparent they would have nothing to cheer for...

Also, I disagree with your position that its unfair to balme the fans for not being lound and the Nuggets loosing...Am I wrong or is an NBA home-court supposed to be an "advantage"...It is up to the fans to DEMAND excelence, strong defense and hustle...And walking out early is just giving up...Stay and BOOO your team, chant defense...something!

p.s. Isnt it funny that Melo was halfway down the tunnel while the game was stilll going on? Stay classy Melo, stay classy.

STIFF LIST (as of 4/26 by Andrew Feinstein)

1. METTA WORLD PEACE

Metta resorted back to Ron Ron last Sunday by clubbing James Hardenwith an "inadvertent celebratory elbow", landing him a 7-game suspension. Apparently, changing his name didn't prevent NBA commissioner David Stern from overlooking Metta's past behavior problems.

2. CHARLOTTE BOBCATS

The 'Cats are on the verge of securing the worst winning percentage in NBA history. Given that the guy who runs the team - Michael Jordan - had previously drafted Kwame Brown and Adam Morrison, should this really be a shock?

3. OKLAHOMA CITY THUNDER
The team that was supposedly built to overcome the lockout-shortened season managed to lose 7 of its last 14 games, ceding the Western Conference's 1-seed to the Spurs in the process. Their reward might be a first round matchup with defending champion Dallas.

4. BILLY HUNTER AND DEREK FISHER
With report after report coming out about NBPA union head Hunter's shady, nepotistic dealings and questions arising about Fisher's own role in dealing with NBA owners behind Hunter's back during the lockout, this off-the-court scandal could prove to be more exciting than the playoffs themselves!

5. STEVE NASH AND THE PHOENIX SUNS
The Suns are on this list for squandering the last few great seasons from Nash. Nash is on this list for his stupidly stubborn loyalty to a franchise as awful as the Suns.
