You're no longer this angry person, and people feel better with you than with the then Furious George.
But, have you made the Denver Nuggets better? No, not necessarily.
All GK can think about is himself... I know all the life story about him is touching and it's great he's found that belief to overcome the obstacles in his life.
But I wonder one thing, what do "the Denver Nuggets" mean to Karl?
This is a nightmare for all the people affected.
---
Can someone even say to their boss, "I've seen the light... I've a better view of life... I've escaped death... I've a better appreciation of life. Therefore work is nothing in comparison... it's so nothing that I can just postpone the scheduled meeting for another day, it's so nothing I can finish unloading only 20 trucks in a day when the requirement says 30 trucks, my work is so nothing that I can show up 30 minutes late as long as I still work 7 hours a day."
Does the person have a better life? Yes. But is it fair to the organization he works for? No. Hell no.

If Karl wants to emphasize so much about "better life", he should quit being a basketball coach and start a TV show "Dr. Karl". At least it will be a similar subject.

His priorities had shifted. Not even playoff games held the same importance to him.
When I recalled that scene to Coby Karl, he said, "That's a good observation. And that's true. The fact is, once you go through something like this …"
WOW NO WONDER WE ARE ONE AND DONE FOR THE PAST THREE YEARS

The new Karl can watch tape a day after a disappointing loss to the SuperSonics and not feel dejected.
"There's some things we did poorly in that game, but for most of the game, it was a well-coached basketball game and a well-played basketball game by both teams," Karl said.
"WELL COACHED"? ARE YOU KIDDING ME?
---
It's that failure doesn't seem so bad.
HOLY CRAP

The Nuggets still haven't assured themselves a playoff spot. In the unpredictable Western Conference, we can be assured of only this: Win or lose, Karl will be just fine.
OK, "KARL" WILL BE FINE. HOW ABOUT "THE DENVER NUGGETS"? WILL "THEY" BE FINE?

As Bill Parcells said, you are what your record says you are. It might be time for fans and pundits to cease calling the Nugs a talented team. Talent is irrelevant if you don't perform. If we focus on performance rather than talent, we will see the Nuggets for what they are.

Who do you think would of had a better overall record at this point..
GK or Bzdelik?

I think Bdzelik got a bad rap. He was developing as a coach, and I think he would have turned out to be a fine one.
I think the issue was that the players may not have given him the same respect they initially gave Karl when he came aboard. Karl got the respect on name recognition.
But flash forward and what are the results under Karl?
To answer the question, who knows? That's like putting the genie back in the bottle. I didn't like the Karl hire at the time because I thought he lost it in Milwaukee. If Bdzelick didn't work out, management should've tried someone else.
But that's that 20/20 rose-colored hindsight.
