Pretty douchey and you cant even post under a name? LOL

This blog has been up for what 3 months now? The blog was first intended to do 1 of 3 things.

Either get Karl fired so a new coach could save THIS season.

Fire up the team to play for karl THIS season.

Educate everyone why Karl should be fired at the end of the year. Although Steve A. Smith says Karl my just step down...THANK GOD

This blog is awesome. It's nice to read musings on the Nuggets from the point of view of an intelligent fan.

Maybe it should be renamed hirejeffvangundy.com.

Hey, will you write an article on how we were better with Andre Miller, how he was a classy guy, how we BONED ourselves and wasted tons of money by trading, and how he's having the last laugh by playing on a fun, disciplined team.

That is all.

by millerfan on Apr 21, 2008 5:43 PM MDT reply actions

I still believe the Nuggets getting iverson for miller was still a good trade but if we dont have the right coach to use two superstars to their full potential then we will never reep the benefits. Why not throw diawara in for a few minutes to guard kobe and let martin guard odom cause he was burning us with his passing. I think george's job as head coach hinders on game 2 and what exactly he does. Great email by the way I bet a lot of people were looking to create this site today as well

by Step Up or Shut Up on Apr 21, 2008 5:48 PM MDT reply actions

Having diawara play some minutes would be all too obvious. Ive been saying for a while that diawara should start and jr should get more total minutes. The simple questions are these:

Is diawara worse than AC on offense? (that is not possible)

Is diawara better than AC on defense? (YES, he is one of our best perimeter defenders)

by Anonymous on Apr 21, 2008 6:08 PM MDT reply actions

Good point about Diawara. But Diawara can't push the ball and distribute the ball like AC. And if they want AI playing SG, we're gonna have to get used to AC's diagonal jump shot.

Hopefully this blog either makes George Karl step down from his duties, or step up in his duties. IF nothing changes, AI should move to another team; he deserves a chip' and he wont get one in those circumstances.

I don't think that he carter is that great at getting assists. I mean they dont run an offense half of the time they just give it to melo but with carter in the game his man can just double down on melo or help over on iverson when he has the ball. With JR or Kleiza in the game they have to stay with them and cant double over, and they are better at defense cause they are bigger. If Karl starts carter he should be fired on the spot and replaced with charles barkley. Yes I am starting it Barkley in 08-09

Darren Collison @ 20, to save the day!

by Chris C. on Apr 21, 2008 6:37 PM MDT reply actions

Great Call on Collison. He is a great defender, maybe they could trade camby and get another draft pick. They will never win with someone so soft inside.

How about you guys just go ahead and chant "MVP" for Kobe, pack your bags and start practicing for next year?

by Anonymous on Apr 21, 2008 8:29 PM MDT reply actions

So here's an interesting tidbit:

According to the Rocky Mountain News, Karl has made a, GASP, adjustment!

Anthony Carter is coming off the bench, and Kleiza is getting the start. AI will be the PG.

Needless to say, I want to know who kidnapped George Karl and replaced him with a real coach.

by Chris C. on Apr 21, 2008 8:41 PM MDT reply actions

Wow, Millerfan, stop bagging on AI. If it wasn't for him, the Nuggets probably wouldn't even be in the playoffs right now. Just watch his highlights when they played Golden State. He was basically the reason as to why they got back into that game.

Anyways, yes, Linas Kleiza might start instead of Anthony Carter. Which would be awesome, considering there won't be as big of a matchup problem.

Sorry, i don't call "die hard nuggets fan" someone who has only now the idea to launch a fire gk website...

Who the hell are you to question my fan hood?

iverson warrior...stop talking out of your ass.....
Andrew created this site over two months ago when it looked like we were in trouble. He has appeared on many talkshows in denver including the biggest radio station in colorado. He stands up more for the nuggets than you do (since he is more about the nuggets and your about iverson)

I dont even know why im defending him....maybe its because he speaks the truth.

by danjustin on Apr 21, 2008 10:19 PM MDT reply actions

I just hope AC doesn't in fact come off the bench at all. He should remain in street clothes. JR is going to be even more key this game now with Kleiza starting, as he will be the main firepower off the bench. And if anyone gets into foul trouble...

No means No-be.

STIFF LIST (as of 2/7 by Andrew Feinstein)

1. THE NUGGETS AT HOME
How is it possible that a Nuggets team with this much talent can be 7-5 at home?! Things have gotten so bad that fans are clamoring for J.R. Smith to return.

2. CARMELO ANTHONY
Kobe Bryant plays through any and all ailments. Melo uses any and ailments as an excuse not to play.

3. KEVIN LOVE
Just when the T'Wolves are looking better, Love stomps on Luis Scola and lands himself a two-game suspension.

4. CHARLOTTE BOBCATS
The 'Cats have lost 11 straight and are now 3-21 ... in the Eastern Conference! This is what happens when you let an underwear salesman with a Hitler mustache run your team.

5. MIKE BROWN
Dr. Bunsen Honeydew (Google it!) got himself a one-game suspension for making contact with a referee.
