Around SBN: The Ten Worst Swings Of The 2011 Season

Nuggets kick the crap out of the Oklahoma City...ERRRRR...Seattle SuperSonics...

Gus Williams, Fred Brown and Jack Sikma aren't walking through that door!

Nothing buys an extra week of job security quite like a 42-point ass whipping on the road (I now know how road teams felt playing in Denver during the 1990-91 season). The Nuggets finally did what they're supposed to do against a grossly inferior squad playing the second of back-to-back nights. Now if only we could shoot 67% against the Rockets, Spurs, Suns and Jazz next week.

Dont forget a young Dennis Johnson and a skinny Shawn Kemp.

good to see the effort last night. The Sonics looked double whammied- they suck and they were disinterested.

I recognize it takes a lot of time and effort to make and maintain this full fledged attack on what appears to be your personal scapegoat, but I would like to pose a question for you. Do you honestly think that last night's victory was based on a new coaching plan that George instituted for the first time, or could it be that the players showed more energy and effort? Not to mention, they won against a below five hundred team, where in the past they have been known to show a lack of effort for below average teams. This is what leads to inconsistency, NOT the preparation of the coaching staff.

Seattle played the 2nd night of back to back, no D and couldn't hit a open shot all night long... I won't give any credit to this win... Denver still showcased the usuals flaws, this time they just had a particularly hot hand.

He can't win for winning. Can he? Be careful for what you wish for....we got on him in Milwaukee like you are, look at our franchise now. i hope if he does get fired you get what we are suffering through right now and we get him back as a coach. Your loss would certainly be our gain!

STIFF LIST (as of 2/7 by Andrew Feinstein)

1. THE NUGGETS AT HOME
How is it possible that a Nuggets team with this much talent can be 7-5 at home?! Things have gotten so bad that fans are clamoring for J.R. Smith to return.

2. CARMELO ANTHONY
Kobe Bryant plays through any and all ailments. Melo uses any and ailments as an excuse not to play.

3. KEVIN LOVE
Just when the T'Wolves are looking better, Love stomps on Luis Scola and lands himself a two-game suspension.

4. CHARLOTTE BOBCATS
The 'Cats have lost 11 straight and are now 3-21 ... in the Eastern Conference! This is what happens when you let an underwear salesman with a Hitler mustache run your team.

5. MIKE BROWN
Dr. Bunsen Honeydew (Google it!) got himself a one-game suspension for making contact with a referee.
